Excellence in Eye Care
Dr. Anthony Spina brings a strong foundation of clinical excellence, advanced training, and patient-centered care to Premier Eye Associates. He graduated with honors from both Villanova University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he developed a passion for delivering high-quality, comprehensive eye care.
During his clinical training, Dr. Spina worked alongside leading specialists at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, gaining experience in advanced ocular disease management and specialty care.
Following graduation, Dr. Spina served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he was an Aerospace Optometrist with the 42nd Medical Group at Maxwell Air Force Base. In this role, he provided vision care for active-duty personnel while completing advanced training in refractive surgery, operational eye care, and aerospace optometry of optometrists nationwide.
He also led the Corneal Refractive Surgery and Disease Management programs, further refining his expertise in complex vision care and surgical co-management.
Dr. Spina is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized eye care to patients of all ages, combining advanced clinical knowledge with a patient-first approach.

In recognition of his excellence in patient care and contributions to the field of optometry, Dr. Spina is a distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry—an honor achieved by only a small percentage of optometrists nationwide.
