Ocular Trauma Care
Eye injuries can happen suddenly and often require immediate medical attention. Our office is equipped to diagnose and treat many urgent eye conditions quickly and effectively, helping relieve pain, prevent complications, and protect your vision. Whether the injury is minor or severe, prompt evaluation is critical, and our team is here to provide fast, experienced care when you need it most.
Embedded Foreign Bodies
Blunt force injuries to the eye, sometimes referred to as a “black eye,” can cause serious damage inside the eye, including retinal tears or detachments. The retina is the delicate nerve tissue lining the back of the eye that is responsible for sensing light and creating vision. Because this tissue is extremely sensitive, trauma can threaten permanent vision loss if not treated quickly. We perform urgent retinal evaluations and coordinate immediate care when needed, as early detection and intervention are critical for preserving sight.

Flashes and Floaters
Sudden flashes of light or the appearance of new floaters in your vision can be warning signs of changes occurring in the back of the eye. While some floaters are harmless and part of the natural aging process, a sudden increase, especially when accompanied by flashes, may indicate a retinal tear or detachment. These symptoms should never be ignored. Our office provides prompt diagnostic evaluations to determine the cause and ensure that any serious conditions are identified and treated as early as possible.
